Playing

Sign in with your invited family Authentik account. Choose answers by touch or use the large keypad. A full check-up saves verified progress and can appear on the public board under an approved character alias—not your email or private nickname.

Earning Collectables

Earn a Collectable by completing a successful learning run: get each question right first time, or read the explanation and get the fresh learning question right on its first attempt. You can keep practising after a miss, but later retries do not unlock that run's capsule.

A breakthrough can earn a Collectable immediately. After at least two mistakes on a skill, three correct answers in a row without hints can earn a one-time reward for that skill. We look at the preceding eight answers and use evidence from the last 45 days. The praise tells you exactly what improved; learning follow-ups do not count towards this independent-answer streak. Rewards require a connection to save.

Your top five

Open Collectables, choose an owned character and select Add to my top five. Choose up to five; remove one to make room for another. Make first moves a favourite to the front. Your choices save with your account. Until you choose five, the shelf fills with other discoveries.

Shared tablets

MathPop remembers account names on this device so players can switch quickly. Use Switch player in Account to choose another Authentik identity. Sign out from Account when the tablet will leave your household or classroom.

Access and controls

Every maths question supports touch and keyboard controls. Use the motion and sound buttons at the top. Arcade games show touch controls below the game. If a control is inaccessible, stop playing and report it so an alternative can be added.

Accounts and recovery

Sign-in and recovery are managed by Authentik. Use Account for your player nickname, public board preference, device sign-out and data export. Ask Craig for an invitation or help recovering your homelab account.

Safety or score concern

Public boards use approved aliases. Signed-in players can report a score and remove their own entry. For a privacy, safety, account or vulnerability concern, email mathpop@deverall.nz. Urgent safety and privacy reports are prioritised.
